NECST & GEM Business Units have completed on the 28th of April 2017, the sale of ENGIE’s 30% participation in Pozagas, together with the renegotiation of the long term gas storage capacities contract.

The conclusion of these 2 agreements at the same time has allowed GEM to considerably improve its contract conditions and therefore create more value for the Group.

Pozagas is an underground gas storage in Slovakia, which has a total capacity of 655 million m3. The company is selling capacity and services linked to this storage.

ENGIE had a share of 30% in this company since 1993. Our participation has been sold to the Nafta company (owned by SPP Infrastructure & Czech Gas Holding). With this acquisition, Nafta is now the main shareholder in Pozagas.
