For the first time, ENGIE is included in the list of the best rated companies by the British rating agency CDP (formerly “Carbon Disclosure Project”). This rating rewards the Group’s strategy and its actions for climate.

The third United Nations conference on housing and sustainable urban development (Habitat III) took place in Quito, Ecuador, between 17 and 20 October 2016. The Group, which is committed to the development of the cities of tomorrow, was represented at the conference by Decentralized Solutions for Cities and Territories.

The official inauguration ceremony of the Olen wind farm was held on Thursday, October 20, attended by Flemish Minister of Energy Bart Tommelein. The wind farm, located to the south of the Bocholt-Herentals canal, comprises four wind turbines with a total capacity of 14 MW.
