On March 7, and in record time in the country, ENGIE private initiative to interconnect the subway system with Santiago airport and the districts of Pudahuel and Lo Prado via an electric light public transport system was declared of interest public by the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications of Chile.

NewsENGIE and TOTAL sign Sale and Purchase Agreement for upstream LNG activities

On Thursday, 12 April 2018, ENGIE and TOTAL signed the Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) according to which TOTAL will acquire ENGIE’s upstream LNG activities. ENGIE will keep its downstream LNG activities, including regasification infrastructure and LNG retail marketing towards end customers.

NewsENGIE and Axium acquire energy system serving six Harvard-affiliated Medical Institutions in the U.S.

ENGIE and Axium Infrastructure, operating jointly as Longwood Energy Partners, have just completed the acquisition of a microgrid and district energy system in the Longwood Medical Area, in Boston, Massachusetts. The energy system serves five hospitals and the Harvard Medical School and School of Public Health under a long-term contract through 2051.

NewsENGIE’s renewable energy generation capacities in India amount to 1 GW following the attribution of a 200 MW wind project

ENGIE just won a 200 MW wind project in the State of Tamil Nadu, in India, in addition to another 50 MW wind project that had been won in that State last month. Earlier this year, ENGIE had marked its first success in wind in India with a 30 MW project to be developed in Gujarat State . All these successes bring a total of 1 GW of renewable energy generation capacities in India for ENGIE, installed or being built.
