NewsCasablanca tram extension: new contracts for our Group!

Our Group, via its subsidiaries ENGIE Ineo and ENGIE Cofely Maroc, was selected by the local development company CASA TRANSPORT for part of the renovation of the new T2 tram line and the extension of the T1 line in Casablanca, Morocco. The contracts we signed total 192 million dirhams, i.e. around €18 million.

On December 16th, the Jirau Hydropower Plant (HPP), located on the Madeira River, in the State of Rondônia, in Northern Brazil, is inaugurated in presence of Gérard Mestrallet. This plant is the fourth largest power plant in the country and our largest hydroelectric project worldwide. Operating with a total of 50 turbines, it has a total capacity of 3,750 MW and will produce the equivalent of the consumption of more than 10 million homes.
