4/18/2017 – We are proud to announce the acquisition of a 30% equity stake in UNISUN, a Chinese solar photovoltaic (PV) company. Charlotte Roule, COO of ENGIE China, and Yisha HE, President of UNISUN, signed the investment agreement on 18 April in Shanghai.

From 4 to 7 April, we participate to Gastech 2017 in Tokyo, Japan, the world’s leading gas and LNG event. It enables over 25,000 commercial experts and technical innovators from the up, mid and downstream sectors of the supply chain to discover business-changing insights, explore innovative solutions and build profitable business connections.

3/24/2017 – ENGIE Chile has announced the 100% acquisition of Gas-Stream, a small-scale LNG reception, storage and regasification company. Gas-Stream was previously owned by the Uruguayan Group Francolino and Interenergy Holding Group and began operations in Chile in the second half of 2013.

4/7/2017 – Throughout the world, cities are innovating, experimenting, acting. Because they bring together a whole population of actors and are more agile than states, cities are the home of solutions, accelerators of change... In this spirit, the French newspaper Le Monde and its partners, including ENGIE, launched the second edition of the Urban Innovation Awards in autumn 2016.

The MV Werften shipyards in Wismar, located on the Baltic Sea in northern Germany, has contracted ENGIE Axima as part of the construction of 4 XXL cruise ships (including 2 options) for the Chinese ship-owner Star Cruise.
