Launch of our #EngieHarmonyProject communication program
26/04/2018News
ENGIE has undergone a profound transformation and returned to growth in the space of two years.
Today, what we are doing is much more than creating value for the company. Through our transformation, we are determined to change over to a different way of developing our business, guided by our pursuit of more harmonious progress. A development based on our three core activities – low-carbon power generation, global networks and customer solutions – and which combines operational excellence and performance with environmental and social responsibility.
Harmonious progress: this is how we define our raison d’être, our mission. Today we are launching a communication program aimed at mediatizing our raison d’être and encouraging everyone to move from awareness to action. We are providing you with concrete evidence of this joint action already underway in a large number of projects, particularly with partners.
Projects that embody our brand
The communication program will promote projects – encompassing all countries, customers and métiers-, which meet the criteria of the #EngieHarmonyProject label:
- Projects which bring ENGIE’s expertise to light and demonstrate to what extent ENGIE is proficient in this expertise.
- Projects of general interest which promote the common good. They bring benefits to the communities where they are conducted. In an environmental, but also social way: creating jobs, facilitating mobility or well-being in cities.
- Projects that have been co-created by ENGIE with all types of partners: start-ups, farmers, artists, customers or scientific experts for example.
- Projects that stage technology that incarnates our vision of the future: a decentralized vision, infused with new technology, and clean.
#EngieHarmonyProject will be the hallmark of projects uniting ENGIE with its partners to serve harmonious progress and of technologies that meet the needs of society.
#EngieHarmonyProject, in video and image
The communication programme will rely on video, print and social media.
The first film that you will see, aired on various channels (TV, social media, etc.) in France as of 27 April (a.m.) and in the UK from 13 May, focuses on the Solar Graffiti project. The film, shot in Mexico, tells the true story of an abandoned sports stadium in the suburbs of Mexico City, rehabilitated through street art and 100% ecological lighting provided by latest-generation organic solar panels. A world premiere that associates ENGIE engineers, the company Heliatek and the Mexican artist N3O. More than a commercial, this project is bringing together local communities and bringing an entire neighbourhood back to life.
