European Sustainable Development Week: find out about our actions
30/05/2017News
European Sustainable Development Week is held each year from May 30 to June 5. Its objective is to explain what sustainable development is, raise awareness of its challenges and facilitate practical mobilisation, both individual and collective.
Sustainable development: our strategy
In May 2016, we committed to six non-financial objectives for 2020:
- A customer satisfaction score of 85% among our BtoC customers;
- A production portfolio containing 25% renewable energy;
- A 20% reduction in the ratio of CO2 emissions for each source of energy production, as compared with 2012. This objective augments our previous objective and is a result of our Group’s decision, in October 2015, to concentrate solely on low-carbon projects using renewable energy and natural gas, and no longer to launch new coal-based projects;
- 100% coverage of our activities by an appropriate mechanism for dialogue and consultation with our stakeholders, based on regular meetings with NGOs and non-profits alongside long-term partnerships related to our activities;
- A workforce comprising 25% women;
- A work-related accident frequency rate of less than 3.
These objectives are enabling us to help achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Objectives (SDO) set by the UNO for 2030.
