ENGIE signs energy supply and services contracts with important mining company in Peru

After several months of work and negotiation, on March 6, ENGIE Energia Peru signed two important contracts with Anglo American Quellaveco.

The first is an electricity supply contract for up to 35 MW for its mining project, for an initial term of 7 years, with the right to extend it up to 30 years.

The second agreement is for the development of a mineral storage project and use of the port terminal owned by ENGIE in Ilo, Moquegua (southern Peru). This contract, which is valid for 37 years, has the objective of enabling the loading and exportation of minerals from the Quellaveco project.
