Infrastructure as a structuring mesh of cities’ and regions’ operation
A city, regardless of its size and in most parts of the world, is meshed with more or less complex infrastructures that ensure the continuity of its various flows and the well-being of its inhabitants. To respond to tangible challenges faced by cities in improving the quality of urban space, digital applications are invaluable tools that cities can widely use, as evidenced by the growing demand for digital by local Public Authorities around the world.
The calls for tender, however, do not call for purely digital solutions, which remain difficult to integrate into daily city management operations. Rather, digital is regarded as a facilitator, allowing new services to improve existing infrastructure.
Livin’ : a scalable digital solution in line with the market’s needs
In order to enable our Group to differentiate itself in various tenders, and to ensure our capacity to fulfil these growing markets, ENGIE Digital and the B2T métier have developed, in cooperation with other organisations within the Group, a digital product capable of being exported to various geographical areas.
Livin’ provides three main functionalities:
1) Livin’ connects infrastructures or infrastructures to other digital solutions. This feature enables infrastructure optimisation services adapted to urban or rural areas and based on the existing mesh of infrastructures: parking facilitation solutions, traffic optimisation services, easing urban lighting control for operators.
2) Livin’ is a solution for city / area management that includes the various applications used on the area and can connect them to a remote management service.
3) Livin’ is interoperable with Siradel’s 3D visualisation and simulation services. This permits to create a digital mirror image of the area, connected to all its infrastructures, in order to quantify its performances, to simulate the effects of future urban developments or new infrastructure, and significantly improve the decision-making process of Public authorities and operators.

Livin’ offers a range of services designed to be easily adapted for different customers. Also, it is possible to offer the full scope of Livin’s services. Further, if a service requested by the customer does not yet exist on Livin ‘, it can be added!
