China, a country with immense potential
These investments are part of the 23 billion Euro planned in our 3 years transformation plan. In China, we intend to invest in solar, biogas, charging stations for electric vehicles and urban heating and cooling networks.
During a press briefing, Isabelle Kocher stated that she was impressed by the speed of deployment of renewables in China. Underlining the potential of the Chinese market for the Group, she said: “We are looking for Chinese partners to ally our technological capacity with their local control and close knowledge of the market”. We can also see considerable opportunities in biogas – particularly produced from agricultural waste – whose price is already competitive compared with natural gas. Lastly, as world leader in charging stations with more than 50,000 sites installed worldwide, our Group sees huge potential in the area of green mobility, where China has great ambitions.
