We commit to the Alliance for Youth in Latin America

6/21/2017 – Our Group launched the Agreement for the employability of young people, during the Pacific Alliance summit, held on May 31 at Santiago, Chile.
Our Group joined forces with Nestlé and 36 other major businesses to launch the Pacific Alliance Agreement for Youth Employability.
Through this agreement, the participating businesses undertake the creation of training programs with a focus on vocational courses and work-based training, whose objective is to employ 17,902 young people in Chile, Columbia, Mexico and Peru.
Daniela Cabello, previously an employee of ENGIE Services Chile and currently working within the Human Resources – Training department, commented: “Attending the meeting was a source of inspiration; each presentation taught me that young people must be heard and become strategic actors in the development of our societies and countries.”
ENGIE Latin America is participating, as a first step, with 15 vacant positions within our operational companies in Chile, in Mexico and Peru.
Among the participating businesses, notably present are GE, Google, Facebook, ABB, Accenture, Grupo Falabella, L’Oréal and Telefónica, among others.
