ENGIE Refrigeration in Germany looks back on more than 130 years of company history having opened its new Head Office in Lindau, the end of September 2016. ENGIE Refrigeration GmbH specializes in all aspects of cost-effective and energy-efficient industrial refrigeration systems. The range of products and services includes the planning, production, operation and maintenance of all types of refrigeration systems including chillers, re-cooling systems and also cooling and cold water solutions. In terms of industry sectors, ENGIE Refrigeration focuses on automotive manufacturing and supply, the chemical and pharmaceutical sector, the manufacturing industry, hospitals, food and beverages, data centers, shipbuilding and building services. Shortly, power generation, district cooling and the oil and gas business will be targeted as well. Its new head office in Lindau will play a crucial role in future development of refrigeration in and outside of Germany. ENGIE Refrigeration chillers count among the most energy efficient cooling machines in the world especially the QUANTUM chillers. Globally the demand for cooling has increased by 24% in the past 11 years. In Germany, cooling alone represents about 16% of the entire power consumption.  International sales are growing in Europe, the Middle East and South-East Asia. In Paris, for example, the Opera, the City Hall and the National Library are equipped with QUANTUM chillers. The “made in Germany” label is a strong asset for ENGIE.
